Regen Kids & Regen Middle School

• Our 5th-8th graders meet upstairs each Sunday morning. They reflect on “Big Questions” often asked by people of faith. For example, “If God is good why do bad things happen? Are all the rules in the Bible still true? What are angels and what do they do?” This group loves having snacks! • Jesus Discovery is our one-room-classroom. Together kids in later pre-school through 5th grade explore and seek to know Jesus for themselves*. These kids focus on discovering the great arc of God’s love for God’s people most clearly seen in Jesus and told throughout all the pages of the Bible. Our goal is to help our kids dig deep into God’s story making it their own while also helping them grow in experiencing God’s Spirit and participating in the church community.
  
  
  

• Our Nursery and Toddler room will continue to provide a foundation of loving care and Jesus centered songs and stories for our youngest children. Our goal is to welcome young children and families in such a way that they are able to experience Regeneration as a supportive extended family in Christ.
  
  
  

*We are blessed to be able to provide flexibility for families at the age level transition points for their kids. I work with each family to determine if their 5 th grader will have the best experience as a leader among the younger children or as an emerging youth. I also work with families of pre-school children to determine when they should best transfer from the comfort of familiar songs and play to the more structured Jesus Discovery class. Please reach out to me if you have specific desires for your child.

We are always seeking loving hearts and hands to bless and care for our young kids and youth. Please contact me if you are open to trying out this ministry. If you don’t have young ones in your daily life, a few Sunday mornings with our wee ones can be a refreshing delight! If you enjoy thoughtful reflection and good questions our youth are great conversation partners.
