We believe that the church is far more than what happens on Sundays. We seek to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly together all throughout the week. One of the best ways to do this is to get connected to a Home Group. Home Groups are smaller expressions of our church body that exist to create community, foster growth as we become more like Jesus together, and to serve the mission of our larger church community.

Each group has a different flavor, but together they give expression to the reality that Regeneration is a collection of broken, eclectic people who come together to authentically love God and our community.

During Spring 2018, all Regen Home Groups will be structured around a sermon based format.

Home Group locations are the general neighborhoods where each group meets. For the exact address, please reach out to the contact person for that Home Group.

Anew
Wednesdays 7:00-9:00 PM
Lake Merritt
Froilan, froilanv@regenerationweb.com

Our mission is to challenge both believers and nonbelievers to see Christianity from a new perspective. It's a safe space for folks to ask difficult questions, share life, receive prayer, and invite others into the community. We typically spend half our time in discussion and the rest of the time sharing and praying for one another.

Prayer & Eats
Thursdays 6:15-8:30 PM
Maxwell Park
Christine, prayerandeats@regenerationweb.com

We come from all walks of life and faith backgrounds. Our group is a great place for people to ask questions, seek truth, and understand what it means to follow Jesus. We begin with a potluck-style dinner, and then move into scripture, and we end with sharing and prayer. This group is centered around vulnerability, encouraging each other in our faith, and applying ourselves to prayer.

Renew
Thursdays 7:00-9:00 PM
Grand Lake
Liz, liz@regenerationweb.com

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will" (Romans 12:2).  At Renew, we get to know each other better over a meal, and then we study Scripture together and pray.

Summit
Wednesdays 7:30-9:30 PM
Alameda (West End)
Nikki, nikki@regenerationweb.com

We are a group seeking authentic community and a deeper understanding of what it looks like to follow Jesus. Our time is spent in worship, exploring the Word, sharing and praying. We aren’t perfect, but we strive to love as we have been loved by God.

Uplift
Wednesdays 7:30-9:00 PM
Millsmont
David, davidb@regenerationweb.com

Uplift home group is pretty diverse! We're made up of all ages. Some of us are single, while others are married. We all have different histories, walks of life, and ethnic backgrounds, but together we are all part of the body of Christ. Uplift is a space for us to meet intimately with God and others so that we can be transformed and be a part of God's transformational work here in Oakland. We welcome everyone and anyone, especially those who may not always feel like they belong.

Zeteo
Wednesdays 7:30-9:00 PM
San Leandro
Contact: Andrea at zeteo@regenerationweb.com

The name zeteo is a Greek verb meaning to seek, pursue. Zeteo home group is inspired by the words of A.W. Tozer, "To have found God and still pursue Him is the soul's paradox of love." Our mission is to seek after God continually and, in finding Him, be filled with the grace to live in authentic community. Our prayer for all who join us is that you may "know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God" (Ephesians 3:19).
